Roles and Responsibilities - Summary

Responsibilities include providing Technical and Functional support
for the Oracle Application including Procurement, General Ledger,
Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets and AOL(Application Object Library).

Technical support includes day to day troubleshooting, onsite
development activities (ie) creating new process, as well as
customization of existing reports, forms and workflows.

Work with On-Demand to ensure smooth production operations as well as
cemili rollover from Development to Production.

* Strong communication skills and ability to communicate with end
users, developers and Oracle On Demand with respect to Production
problems, errors, functionality and reports.
* Strong problem and service request solutioning skills.
* Strong troubleshooting abilities for all work requests, including
problems logged with Oracle On Demand. Ability to review Sr's daily,
provide updates, and ensure that customer status SR's are responded
to promptly.
* Leadership/proactiveness/resourcefulness associated with reviewing
Sr's, existing environment, networking with IBM's Oracle Practice,
making suggestions, recommendations for improvements etc..
* Ability to participate in projects and testing related to patches,
upgrades for databases and application components.

Roles and Responsibilities

o Workflow administration.
o Adhoc Reporting (create queries to provide information to internal
customers including auditors)
o Support monthly close activities
o Troubleshoot issues (ie: identify bugs) Define problem
o Work with Oracle through Metalink to log and resolve issues
o Work with business users in analyzing and defining business
requirements and translate those requirements into functional and
technical design specifications.
o Configuration of new features
o Testing (involves setting up of test cases and test scenarios)

Qualifications:

o Work experience in 11i Financial Applications (11.5.9 and 11.5.10 )
o Full understanding of Oracle modules. (FA, AP, PO, GL)
o Experience in multi-org environments
o Experience with multi currency operations
o Work experience with multi language installations


Technical Skills

o Expertise in Oracle 9i, SQL, PL/SQL. Database 10g
o Expertise in Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle Alert and Oracle
workflow builder.
o Experience working in Unix / Linux operating systems.
